The Lovegood House is an interesting one, that's for sure!
And it certainly lives up to it's name!
The students here aren't quite as "mystic" as Luna,
but they have big hearts and believe in the Magic of Love.
But most importantly, they are fiercely loyal to one another.
Although it didn't happen over night,
it took some time..
A very unique mix of college Sims in this dorm house.
Some are loud and boisterous while others are quiet and shy.
The eight of them met for the first time upon moving in.
The guys hung back a bit, except for Vinny Chicatelli,
(more about him later),
but it didn't take long for the girls to become friends.
My Simself and Dina hit if off real well -
almost like we'd known each other our whole lives!
Although we did hit a little rough patch
when the subject of money came up.
But my Simself smoothed things over by changing the subject
and talking about ridiculous new fashion trends.
Trevor joined in the conversation too -
which helped greatly in putting the awkward
moment behind Dina and my Simself.
Trevor had a lot of information regarding cosmetics -
like which companies tested products on animals and how
awful that is and he could list the many dangers
attributed to aerosol sprays and how they damage the environment.
My Simself was very impressed, finding herself
quite drawn to him and hanging on his every word.
She also found him to be quite handsome, (especially when he smiled) -
but what impressed her most was how sweet and kind he was.
Definitely a Sim she planned on getting to know better.
The morning zipped by as they all settled in.
They picked their majors and rushed off to attend
their first day of classes and meet professors.
.
They all had different majors and no one
was is in the same class together.
Although my Simself noticed that Mari-Soo and Trevor
had early morning classes like she did.
After a late lunch everyone put the socializing on
hold in order to get some studying done
and a couple students got started on their term papers.
My Simself decided to read up on Cleaning
since she didn't have many skill points in that subject yet.
Trevor chose to get some reading done too.
When he asked if it was okay to take the empty seat next to
my Simself she gave him one of her most welcome smiles
and told him to make himself right at home.
And he did!
Mari-Soo didn't feel like putting her nose in a book
so she decided to earn some Charisma points
by way of teaching one of the dorm birds to talk.
This parrot's name is Jacuzzi!
With Vinny and Ginny at class,
the rest of the afternoon was rather quiet
with the exception of Jacuzzi repeating every
word Mari-Soo tossed at him.
But all that changed when Vinny and Ginny got back.
They were both outgoing Sims with a lot of energy
but they were also very loud and even obnoxious at times.
When they entered a room, everyone noticed!
And this time was no exception -
as soon as they walked through the front door
Vinny announced, quite loudly, that he would be
preparing a special dinner for the entire dorm!
And then he added, raising his voice even more, that it
would be the BEST filet mignon that any of them ever tasted!!
Vinny Chicatelli is a Leo and he's Italian.
And he's VERY proud of those Italian roots too!
His personality looms larger than life and
Sims are naturally drawn to him, especially the ladies.
A true Leo, Vinny takes cooking very seriously
and wants nothing more than to serve his culinary genius
to anyone with an empty plate and a hearty appetite.
His LTW is to become a Celebrity Chef and he certainly
has the ambition and talent to achieve that.
Didn't take long for everyone to find their way to the dining room.
If Vinny's cooking tasted half as good as it smelled,
they were all in for a special treat.
Ginny was first to grab a seat at the table.
And not because she was super hungry,
but because she was totally smitten with the chef!
Ginny was a bit of a mystery to her fellow dorm mates.
From the first time she laid eyes on Vinny he was the only one
she had an interest in knowing and when the other females
in the dorm tried to befriend her, she out-and-out ignored them.
In a group she was very friendly and quite talkative.
But one-on-one conversations didn't interest her.
And if one of the other females in the dorm was having too
good a time with Vinny, she was quick to move in and force his
attention from the other female onto her.
And Vinny was right!
His filet mignon really was the best they'd ever had!
And none of them held back their compliments to the Chef.
He beamed with pride while promising, "More where that came from!"
And he made a point to let everyone know that he owes it all
to his great-grandmother, Vinettia Lucia Anna-Marsella Chicatelli,
who began teaching him how to cook when he was a mere 8 years old!
It proved to be a lively night of conversation with
Vinny's scrumptious meal starting everyone off on a happy note.
But it didn't last too long as the day had been super busy.
Everyone crashed out on the early side where
sleep came like a thief in the night, stealing each of them
away to where their dreams wait for all that wander.
The first week went super fast!
Aside from attending class, they blew off extra studies in favor
of activities that were more socially inclined.
My Simself started on her term paper but the temptation
to hang out and get to know everyone in the dorm was tough to resist.
Especially when it came to Trevor, she adored hanging out with him.
And from what she could tell, he liked being with her too.
My Simself also hit it off with Mari-Soo.
Their classes were at the same time, located in the same building
and right down the hall from each other.
She enjoyed walking to and from class with Mari-Soo -
her sense of humor was totally off the wall and a smidge chaotic.
She felt a unique bond with her, just as she did with Dina.
Ginny was the only one she hadn't been able to connect with
but she was going to try and get past the wall she puts up
whenever one the girls in the dorm try to befriend her.
Dina had problems with Ginny first
and it all started over a lively exchange she was having Vinny.
Dina made it clear to my Simself and Mari-Soo that
she didn't have time for high school drama like that
and they'd do best to steer clear of it too.
*ONE WEEK*
They celebrated their first full week as dorm-mates with
Vinny presenting them another fabulous dinner -
a scrumptious dish full of lean chicken breast, tender veggies,
and angel hair pasta swimming in the most delicious white sauce.
Vinny must have told them 50 times what the dish
was called but no one could remember it.
After eating they remained at the table chatting over coffee
when the subject of term papers, class assignments
and skill points popped up.
And I guess some academic guilt popped up too
because a few of them decided playing chess would be a fine
way to chalk up a few Knowledge points!
My Simself was more than happy to play with Trevor.
And Mari-Soo jumped at the chance to play with Glenn.
The huge crush she had on him was as obvious
as the major crush Ginny had for Vinny!
But unfortunately as obvious as it was that Mari-Soo
was totally over the top for Glenn,.he didn't have a clue.
And speaking of Vinny and Ginny -
the last thing they wanted to do was play chess or study!
Cooking was Vinny's biggest passion
but music was next in line, especially rock music.
The only thing Vinny wanted to do was get on the electric guitar and jam.
And Ginny was right behind, joining him on bass.
The two of them played really well.
As a matter of fact their music sounded so great
Glenn couldn't resist the urge to join them.
He quit his chess game abruptly with Mari-Soo
and of course she was bummed out about it.
"Sorry chickie," he apologized,
"But there's a set a drums out there with MY name on it!"
Glenn stopped long enough to leave Vinny and Ginny a generous tip -
along with a thumbs up,..
And then jumped on the drums.
The dorm was rockin now!
Their jam session even got Mason's attention.
A piano without a player set next to him against the wall
just begging for an expert pianist like Mason to join,
but he was much too shy to be that daring.
Sitting off to the side to watch and and listen was more his style.
Mari-Soo wasn't about to sit at a chess board all by herself
and wasted no time in following Glenn to where the music was.
She'd studied piano from the time she was 5
and could play just about anything, so she jumped right in.
Having some good piano play in the mix brought
it all together and it sounded super good!
Dina came in and listened for a bit.
Before leaving she gave them all generous tips
and a wave goodnight as she headed to her dorm room
It's not that she doesn't like music,
it's just that her mission for that night was finishing up her term paper.
My Simself and Trevor played chess for a long time.
As a matter of fact she won all three games.
She wasn't expecting to win any so after her third victory
she couldn't resist popping off with a little hand-clap cheer.
Trevor tried to act like her 3 wins didn't bother him
but it was pretty darn obvious that they did.
She was taken back by his poor sportsmanship but praised his
game strategy in an attempt to soothe his defeated ego.
Unfortunately it didn't help the situation.
He refused to even look at her as he shoved his chair
back in anger, ranting under his breath,
"A person can't even THINK with that damn music blasting!"
He hesitated for a moment after getting to his feet and she hoped he'd
give her a little smile or maybe some eye contact
but he just turned away and huffed,
"I have a term paper to finish!"
And then he stormed off to his room,
slamming the door behind him.
She was stunned!
Trevor was the LAST person she thought would ever act that way.
But then she really didn't know him that well or for very long.
No one else saw his tantrum and she was glad for that.
Bad losers and poor sports were always the kind of Sims
she made a point to NOT be around or hang with.
The whole thing left a super bad taste in her mouth
but she refused to let it ruin her whole evening.
She found her way to where the music was and cheered them on!
They sounded great, especially with Mari Soo at the piano!
It put her in such a good mood she even danced solo for awhile,
(after asking Mason and being turned down).
She tried to put Trevor out of her mind but couldn't.
Even though he'd acted like a butt-sore loser,
she was still crushin on him.
She wanted to hang out until their jam session was over
but it wasn't the right night for that.
She stuffed their tip jars with cash, (putting a little extra in for Mari Soo),
and blew a bunch of kisses at them as she headed out of the music room.
The hallway leading back to her dorm room was long and dark,
providing her way too much time to think along the way.
Trevor's room was directly across the hall from hers.
Up until now she thought having him so close was a cool thing.
But now she just felt really weird about it.
She got to her door and just stood there staring at it.
Why did they have to go and play chess anyways?
It wasn't even a game that she liked!
And now she hated it....
She glanced over to Trevor's door and sighed.
She considered leaving him a note
but quickly pushed the idea out of her mind.
Besides, if anyone should leave a note
HE should leave one on HER door!
He's the one who had a tantrum over losing
a chess games, not her.
Men really pissed her off sometimes
and this was certainly one of those times.
She unlocked her door, thrust it open and flipped on the light.
"I have a term paper to finish too!"
Right after my Simself's departure, Mason followed with the same plan.
He filled their tip jars and left to go work on his term paper.
Vinny, Ginny, Glenn and Mari-Soo jammed all night long!
They finally quit around 4 am
Mari-Soo sat at the piano pouting, her arms folded sternly
across her chest while the other three emptied out their tip jars.
The more they celebrated how great they'd jammed, the more
pissed off she got, especially with Glenn.
Of course no one bothered to congratulate HER on
how her piano playing made the music sound so much better!!!
But that wasn't the real reason she was so upset.
Yes, it bothered her that the other three were off having
so much fun after jamming, but she had to be honest with herself,
she wasn't very approachable or pleasant at the moment -
it's no wonder they were avoiding her.
The real reason she was so upset is that she was mad at herself.
She had NO business staying up so late when her classes are so early.
And all because she wanted to hang out and be close
to some STUPID guy she barely knew!
And even worse - a guy that barely knew she even existed!
She grabbed her tips from the jar and that made her smile.
She was probably the "poorest" student in the dorm.
Her family had very little "extra" money and the funds she brought
to college was the money she saved up from working the last two years.
And it was going fast which worried her a lot.
Extra money like the tips she just got were a big help.
Most college students just phone home when they run short of cash
but that wasn't an option for her, her parents just didn't have it.
She started to head to her dorm room
when a voice came up from behind and stopped her.
She turned around to find Vinny with a big smile on his face.
"Hey Girl!
Just wanted to tell ya that YOU are the BEST piano man
I've ever heard or jammed with!!"
A wide smile blushed across Mari-Soo's face.
Uhh, piano MAN?"
Vinny laughed and gave her a friendly squeeze on the arm.
"You know what I mean, piano man,..the old Billy Joel tune?"
"I know," Mari-Soo laughed, "Thank you, it was fun!"
Vinny looked her straight in the eye.
"No, thank YOU!
And I'll be honest with you,... with you at the keys,..
we sounded a lot better than we really do!'
Mari-Soo was flattered and quite moved at Vinny's praise.
And she felt real bad for being mad and
sitting there pouting like a spoiled brat at the piano.
Vinny going out of his way to come talk to her meant a lot.
"Well, I think you all sounded great!"she told him,
"And I'm glad I got the chance to join in with you and thanks for coming
over and telling me what you just told me,.."
Vinny bust out laughing as if she's just told a joke.
She laughed along with him but really didn't know why,..
And that's when she saw Ginny hanging in the background just
watching the two of them from a dark corner in the room.
It creeped her out and served as good reminder
that she needed to get her butt in bed.
"I really need to get some sleep,..
I'll see you tomorrow, ok? Goodnight"
She turned to go to her room when he reached out
and grabbed her arm.
"Wait!"
She turned back around trying to hide her impatience.
Vinny jumped right in.
"Here, I want you to have this."
He pushed a wad of bills into her hands.
It was his tips from the night.
"Oh, I can't,", she shoved the money back at him,
"These are your tips, you deserve them!"
Vinny wouldn't take the cash from her or take no for an answer.
"Nope! I want you to have it, so girl, TAKE IT!"
Vinny giving her his tips left her speechless.
And if not for the fact that she knew for sure that no one in the
dorm knew about her financial situation, she'd be real suspicious of
his motives but there was no way for him to know so she
accepted it in the spirit it was given
Ginny had stepped out of the shadows by this time
and took a stand next to Vinny
with a disapproving look on her face.
"You gave her your tips?
Mari-Soo didn't want to be a part of whatever
was about to happen now that Ginny was involved.
She thanked Vinny again and went to get some sleep.
The only thing she heard as she walked away was Vinny saying,
"Yeah, why not? I don't need the money."
Trevor was the first one up that next morning
and he made everyone breakfast.
Trevor was in a much better mood,
serving up blueberry pancakes with friendly smiles for everyone -
especially my Simself and she had a smile for him too.
.
His better mood was a relief but things were different now.
She'd seen a side to him that was very unpleasant
and there wasn't anything she could do to change that.
She didn't have a problem being Trevor's friend but any hopes
for it to be more than friends were dashed in a stupid chess game.
Sadness washed over her and she lost her appetite.
The plate of blueberry pancakes that Trevor put in front of her
sat there looking as lumpy and blue as she felt.
She hated that everything could change in the matter of one day.
But she didn't want Trevor to see how down in the dumps she was
and put on a happy face to get through the morning.
But she wasn't the only one in the room feeling crappy.
Mari-Soo looked exhausted and my Simself wondered
if she'd be able to stay awake in class.
Glenn was at the table too,
still stoked about their jam session and talking a stream about it.
Vinny was right there with him and neither of them looked tired at all.
Ginny was no where in sight, obviously getting her sleep.
Mari-Soo winced at the sight of the guys and asked how they
could be so damn perky after not getting any sleep.
Vinny laughed at her question.
"Ice cold showers Little Girl!
Ice. Cold. Showers."
Mari-Soo scowled at him, "No thanks!"
He laughed even more.
"It's true, Baby Doll!
Cold showers wake your ass up just like THAT!"
He snapped his fingers right in her face to make his point
and she took a playful swipe at him and growled.
"Awe, I love you too bitch kitty!" he coo'd
And then blew her a kiss.
Everyone at the table erupted in laughter
and even Mari-Soo, who's eyes were just narrow
slits glaring at Vinny, couldn't stay mad or hold back her smile.
Glenn took a big swig of coffee,
"Ya know Mari-Soo", he said in a scolding tone,
"You shouldn't stay up so late,
that's why you're being such a miserable bitch right now
and ruining everyone's breakfast".
It was the brutal end of a fragile morning.
You could have heard a pin drop as everyone
adjusted themselves to the obvious tension in the room.
Mari-Soo jumped out of her chair and unleashed on Glenn.
"And you're a fucking asshole piece a shit!
As she stomped out of the dining room in tears
Glenn looked to everyone with wide eyes looking totally shocked.
"What the hell was THAT?," he laughed, looking to everyone
as if he was oblivious to what just happened
Vinny was quick to call him out.
"Not cool dude"
It was an awful scene.
And it didn't help much when Ginny walked in on it all.
"What's all the yelling about?!!!"
Glenn was the only one to respond relaying what happened
as if Mari-Soo went off the deep end for no reason.
Ginny grabbed herself a plate of pancakes and sat in-between
Vinny and Glenn, shaking her head while filling her mouth
with pancakes and talking at the same time.
"That chick is WIERD!"
Vinny got up and began clearing the table and Dina joined him.
My Simself went after Mari-Soo to see if she was okay
with the sound of dishes slamming behind her -
an obvious message of disapproval from Dina.
As soon as she exited the dining room
Trevor approached her and quietly asked if the two
of them could talk for a moment.
He motioned towards the dart board area in the
dining room and said he'd meet her there.
Talk about timing!!
She was worried about Mari-Soo and felt her situation
was more important than talking to Trevor.
Although she really wanted to hear what Trevor had to say too.
What to do?!!
Out of nowhere, Dina saved the day when she
came up and told her that she'd go check on Mari-Soo.
Problem solved.
She went back into the dining room and joined Trevor
where he was waiting by one of the dart boards.
She was surprised to see him changed out of
his pajama's and dressed for class.
He looked quite handsome and the sweet smile
that he greeted her with made her a little weak in the knees.
Trevor apologized profusely for how he'd acted the night before
and asked if she'd ever be able to forgive him.
"Of course!" she assured him, "There's nothing to forgive!"
He went on to tell her about some stressful situations in his life -
the main one being his father passing away 4 months earlier.
Trevor explained that he's an only child and that his mother had him
right before she eldered up and that his father was was halfway
into his elderhood when Trevor was born. So his father
basically died from issues brought on by old age.
He was close to his dad and losing him was very difficult.
His mother was having a hard time too and being away at college
caused him to worry a lot about her and that made perfect sense.
My Simself was very moved by everything Trevor told her
and hugged him tightly while thanking him for being so
honest with her. She also told him that she was there if he
ever needed to talk or just have a shoulder to lean on.
It felt wonderful being back on track with Trevor even
though the sadness of his situation was heavy and couldn't be changed.
She was glad he opened up to her so she could help lighten his load.
They stood there smiling, not saying a word,
just gazing at one another, relieved to have a new start.
My Simself struggled, trying to think of what she should say next.
But she really didn't need to say anything.
Trevor held her hands, looked her in the eye and said, "Thank you".
And then he shot her cute little wink, cocked his head
and pointed a thumb over his shoulder -
"So,..Wanna play darts?"
Ummmmmmmmm,...
Actually, there wasn't enough time for a game of darts.
My Simself had just enough time to take a shower and get
ready for class. Trevor was waiting for her by the front door and she
told him she'd be there as soon as she found Mari-Soo.
She found Mari-Soo alright,
but not where she thought her friend would be.
It came as a total surprise but there she was
sitting at a chess table playing a round with Glenn!
Before she could say anything Mari-Soo told her to go on
without her, that she was SKIPPING CLASS to "work things out"
with Glenn and that she'd talk to her when she got back home.
My Simself wanted to grab her friend by the hair
and drag her off to class but there wasn't any
time for that, it was time to go!
It was a hideous morning
but everyone let it go and carried on as usual.
Vinny and Ginny decided to spend their time playing darts.
They SHOULD have hit the books or started on their term papers
but having fun was a bigger priority with them.
Vinny started telling his wild stories
and Ginny cheered him on to tell more.
After each story she'd tickle him and Vinny's hearty laughter
echoed from one end of the dorm to the other.
One thing for sure, Vinny has a darn good time no matter
what he's doing, or where he is or who he's with!!
As for Dina -
after all the drama at breakfast
she just wanted a peaceful rest of her morning.
She decided to hang out by the hot tub
and tend to the plants until she had to go to class.
Vinny and Ginny's loud horseplay was too much for her
and she wanted to distance herself from it as much as possible.
Mason saw her talking to the plants
and decided to offer up some of his hobby tips..
Dina didn't mind, she liked Mason.
He was very polite, (impeccable manners), super smart, soft-spoken and
had the prettiest blue-green eyes she'd ever seen.
Plus it didn't hurt that his daddy was the wealthiest Sim in town,...
He asked her if she'd been able to finish her term paper yet
but before Dina could answer him, she felt something ,......something not quite right,...something,... dark,..evil,..moving towards them.
Mason felt it too and they both stood there frozen
Dina glanced to her right very slowly,..
Ah, BLATT!!!!
The last thing she wanted was her peaceful morning ruined
by some stupid Cow Mascot armed with a Joy Buzzer.
Mason didn't know what to think or do.
This was the first time he'd even seen a Cow Mascot
and he didn't like the looks of it at all.
He decided to just ignore it and talk to the plants.
Dina knew better than to try and ignore it.
That never worked.
She decided to try the nice approach and just politely ask
the Cow Mascot to go hang out with someone else,..
like maybe Vinny and Ginny!
But it didn't work.
The Cow Mascot just stood there looking Dina over.
"Fine", she thought to herself,
"If this stupid cow doesn't have the sense to go
hang out some place else, I WILL!"
But before she could make her escape, the Cow made it's move!
Dina cringed as the black and white beast lunged towards her.
"What's the matter Blondie?", the Cow teased
"You afraid of a little ole cow?"
Dina straightened her back and stood up to the ugly mascot
as it laughed and pointed at her.
"Listen here you,...you stupid ..COW PIE ON TWO LEGS,
IV'E HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!"
The cow's evil laughter filled the air and the next thing Dina knew
it's big square nose was up close and personal in her face.
"You had enough of me, huh?!!"
Dina tried to step back but she was cornered and
couldn't escape the Mascot's verbal attack.
"Well, let me tell you something little miss perfect!
I've had enough of YOU!!
The Cow poked Dina hard in the chest and then gave her a mighty shove,
causing her to lose her balance and crash into the plants behind her.
She looked around for Mason but he was long gone.
Only thing she could think of was to make a run for it!
But the Cow was quick and shoved her back into the plants.
"You can't run from ME!"
The cows heavy boot landed on her foot
and Dina screamed out from the crushing pain.
The Cow Mascot laughed in her face.
"I'll fix it so you can't even WALK Blondie!!!".
Sharp pains ran up her leg and over every inch of her foot
as the cow ground it's heavy heel into it.
Dina could hardly breathe the pain was so awful.
With all the might she could muster, she shoved back.
"Get off me you ugly, BIG FAT HEFFER!!
The cow stumbled back freeing Dina's foot from under it's boot.
She began limping away but the cow cornered her.
"Now,..I KNOW you didn't just call me a BIG FAT HEFFER?"
Dina looked away, rubbing her poor throbbing foot.
The cow's voice came at her in an evil tone.
"Ya know what Blondie? I might be a heffer,
but YOU look like a tacky, trailer park SimMart shopper
and you smell like cheap toilet water
from a Gotta Go Porta Potty!!! .
Dina's mouth fell wide open.
That was the worst thing anyone ever said to her,
It was worse than the boot crushing her foot!
She stood there, on one foot in disbelief as the cow
continued to call her names.
Then, out of nowhere, Mason stepped in-between
allowing Dina some space to get away.
With her foot throbbing in excruciating pain,
Dina stood there crushed and humiliated.
It was just too much and she broke down in tears.
Mason felt awful.
Seeing the Cow Mascot for the first time had made him
feel kinda weird so he thought he better go in and get his inhaler.
He was only gone from Dina for a few minutes.
He had no idea something so terrible like this could
happen to a student on a college campus.
Waving his arms at the Cow Mascot, Mason didn't hold back.
"Go! Amscray Cow! And don't come back!
If I see you here again I'm calling Campus Security
and reporting you to the Dean's Office!"
And it worked -
the Cow Mascot left the dorm house.
Dina was so embarrassed for falling apart in front of Mason.
The Cow Mascot put her through a humiliating ordeal.
She wanted to run away and hide.
And Mason didn't know what to do.
Watching Dina cry so much made him all jumpy inside
and his stomach was hurting like it does
whenever he ate processed cheese.
He quietly edged up and stood behind her as she
wiped the tears out of her eyes.
"I'm sorry Dina.
I didn't know that Cow was going to
push you into the plants and stomp on your foot
and call you horrible names.
If I'd known I would have
never gone inside to get my inhaler"
He stepped up alongside her.
"I hate seeing you cry Dina.
It's just not right that someone as pretty and
wonderful as you would be so sad"
Mason's words certainly got Dina's attention.
"So, you think I'm pretty?", she asked.
"Oh, yes, VERY pretty!, Mason gushed,
"You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen!
As a matter of fact I think you're the prettiest
girl in the word and there should be a BIG painting
of you in a museum!"
Dina blushed as a modest smile spread across her face.
"Thank you Mason, you're so sweet to say that!"
And then Dina asked if she could
ask Mason a question and of course he said
she could ask him anything.
"Do you think I dress like a tacky SimMart shopper?"
Dina's question totally stumped Mason.
He'd lived a sheltered life until going to college and
it was a VERY wealthy lifestyle too.
He had no idea what a tacky SimMart shopper was.
Dina waved it off and continued to flirt
with Mason as he showered her with compliments.
Do you think I smell like toilet water?
Now, THAT question got a reaction out of Mason
that she was not expected - he was horrified!
"TOILET WATER?!!
Why would anyone want to smell like a toilet?!!
That's just GROSS!
PeeeeeeeeeeeeeUuuuuuuuuuuu!
Yucky stinky icky!!
Of course you don't smell like a toilet!!!
As a matter of fact Mason was so disturbed
and dismayed by the question that he
had to stop and use his inhaler.
Took Dina a few minutes to calm him down and
explain to him that (very) cheap perfume is called toilet water.
He never could quite grasp what she was telling him
but he did tell her that she smelled like a beautiful garden filled
with exotic flowers and fairy dust on a beautiful Spring morning
right after old village women bake their bread for the day.
It was really weird but Dina was flattered beyond words.
Suddenly Dina found herself super attracted to Mason.
And Mason was attracted to her too.
He reached out and gently took her hand into his.
She was surprised at how soft and warm his hands were,..
kinda like warm cookie dough..
And then it happened.
Dina and Mason fell in love.
But they also had class in an hour so had to dash!!
Dina and Mason met up after class with a
whole new outlook on life.
Neither of them expected to fall in love that day
and it's all they could think about.
They took their time getting back to the dorm,
deciding to walk through the park.
Hand-in-hand and all smiles they talked about the weather
and whatever else popped into their head.
Dina did most of the talking while Mason struggled
against his fear of saying the wrong thing.
Every time they looked at each other he'd blush
and nod his head agreeing with whatever she had to say.
As awkward as it was for Mason,
it only served to endear him towards her more.
Didn't take long for them to reach the exit of the park
with the dorm just a block and a half away.
Of course they'd both been thinking about what
they'd do when they got back to the dorm, especially Dina,
she really wanted to share the hot tub with Mason.
But she wasn't sure how to bring something like that up.
She worried that asking him to join her in the hot tub
might be too bold and well,..slutty.
But before she could decide one way or the other,
Mason stopped, cleared his throat nervously
and leaned in towards her -
she closed her eyes in dreamy anticipation of his kiss.
"Dina, would you like to do our assignments
together in the dorm dining room?
I'll buy you a Cream Soda!"
Ah, BLATT!
Dina opened her eyes and gave Mason a loving caress.
"Of course Mason, there's nothing else I'd rather do!"
And that's exactly what they did.
After finishing their assignments they sat drinking
their cream sodas and eating homemade Snickerdoodles -
sent in a care package from Mason's grandmother in Veronaville.
Dina complimented Mason on the cookies,
saying they were the best Snickerdoodles she'd ever
had and she wasn't just saying that to score points -
they really were the best cookies she'd ever had.
Mason beamed with pride on behalf of his grandmother.
"Snickerdoodles and Cream Soda are
my two most favorite things!", he told her,
"They always make me happy!"
And then Mason asked Dina a question that
would change his life in ways he'd never dreamed of.
"What makes you happy Dina?"
Long-Story-Short
That one little question opened up the door
that leads to -
Love In a Hot Tub.
It wasn't difficult.
Dina told Mason she had a surprise for him in the hot tub.
And yes, he was very surprised!
It was at this point Mason told Dina
he liked being in the hot tub with her WAY more
than Snickerdoodles and Cream Soda.
Hot Tubs, Snickerdoodles and Cream Soda.
Dina and Mason discovered the secret to their happiness!!
But unfortunately their cuddle time in the hot tub was cut short,..,..
,.... there was a situation happening.
BIG FAT HEFFA WAS BACK!!
But this time it was the maid being harassed.
Didn't take long for Dina to get wind of it.
And after everything she went through with the cow earlier -
she was MAD!
VERY MAD!!!
Between Dina and the maid,
the Cow Mascot got a big, (well deserved), dose of it's own medicine.
They poked, punched, shoved, teased and insulted!
When they were finally finished
that Cow Mascot couldn't leave the dorm quick enough!
Getting back at the Cow Mascot made Dina's day!
But unfortunately, the maid wasn't as happy about it.
It was now their Sophmore Year.
It was only a matter of time
for Vinny and Ginny to fall in love.
They really are BFF's and have a LOT of fun together!
Now, if they could find a way to cut back on goofing off so much
and get their grades up things would be a lot better.
But it was after class one night that they found love together.
Ginny was the one who made the first move.
And it was Ginny's idea to cuddle under the stars.
No doubt they'll be very happy together!
(As long as they don't get creamed by a satellite!)
It was now almost the end of their Junior year.
Friendships were strong and they were looking forward
to their Senior year together. With the exception of Vinny & Ginny,
they all made it on the Dean's List with perfect A+ grades.
My Simself had gotten into the habit of making
everyone breakfast in the mornings.
But some mornings Trevor liked doing it too,
which was always a welcome break when
my Simself didn't feel like it.
By this time Trevor and my Simself were as tight as two Sims can get.
And he proved to her that he was a Sim of his word -
as he was never a sore loser again, no matter how many times
my Simself beat him at chess, darts or poker!
And she won more times than she lost,...
His ability to live by his promise meant a great deal
and she admired him more than ever for it.
- RANDOM -
Not sure what was happening
between Mason and Glenn in this pix.
Quite the serious look on Mason's face.
And Glenn doesn't look too happy.
BOMBS : VERY Serious Subject
From day one my Simself had been head over heels for Trevor.
Especially since he never went back on his promise to her.
And he was head over heels for her too!
But it was my Simself who decided to make the
first move with Trevor one day after class.
One kiss was all it took!
And they fell in love.
It was my idea to hit the hot tub too!
But she got NO resistance from Trevor, that's for sure.
WHEEEEE!!!
So what does a couple do after their first woo-hoo in a hot tub?
Their class assignment of course!
(Trevor's idea)
*Life Is Good*
My Simself loves waking up every morning and being in love!
She's a happy Sim!
But just being happy wasn't enough for Trevor -
being healthy is important too and he thought it would be
a good idea for the two of them to get up earlier than
usual and go for a long jog every morning.
My Simself thought it was a FANTASTIC idea!
Especially with all the pancakes they eat.
They left for their first long jog before the sun came up.
My Simself was super excited and all smiles.
She loved the idea of having something special to do every day
that was just for the two of them, (besides the hot tub).
- RANDOM -
The little garden I created for their dorm house.
When Trevor suggested the two of them should go for a long jog
my Simself had NO idea just how long it would be.
Well, she sure found out!
Trevor had them jogging in places she never
even knew existed on campus!
And worst of all, halfway in she started having trouble
keeping up and got hit with an agonizing side ache.
Plus, they were jogging so long they didn't have time for breakfast
when they got back - it was barely enough time to shower.
(And she needed a shower badly!)
Nor was she very excited about the big blisters
she came back with on both heels.
"It'll be special!", she'd told herself.
Special NOT!
My Simself limped by Dina on her way into the Dorm.
Even though her encounter with the Cow mascot was a while back,
Dina still had a tough time letting go of her angst.
There were some days, (and nights), where all she did was
think about ways to torture that campus mascot she hates so much!
Mason doesn't like seeing her so consumed with rage.
It made him feel all jumpy inside and a
few times her being so angry made him break out in hives.
It took a little time, but he found a way
to calm her down and get her in a better mood.
This particular morning Dina was tied up in knots
more than usual and all she could do was rant and rave about
how much she wanted to CRUSH THAT COW!
Mason had planned to wait until the two of them were
out on a romantic date at the most pish-posh restaurant Downtown
but then he figured, "No better time than the present"
Dina didn't hesitate for a moment in accepting Mason's proposal.
It was the most joy-filled moment of their lives.
A day the two of them would remember and cherish forever and ever.
NOTHING could ruin their beautiful moment!
Or could it?
It didn't take long for Dina to bring Mason to -
he was only passed out on the sidewalk for about 7 or 8 minutes.
And it wasn't all long after he came around, (another 5 minutes or so),
that he finally quit calling Dina Professor McGonagall and
was able to speak in full sentences again.
Yeah, it was a tricky morning, that's for sure.
But once Dina got Mason inside the dorm library, (his "safe place"),
and explained to him that streakers are perfectly normal students,
just like everyone else, not crazy naked Sims with evil anarchy
on their minds and that streaking is just an innocent campus prank,
nothing to be frightened or shocked by and that there was no way his mother
would find out, he quit hyperventilating and only needed his inhaler once.
But to be safe she gave him a couple Snickerdoodles with a Cream Soda
and decided it would be best if the two of them hung out in the library
for the day using their inside voices and reading Harry Potter.
Mari-Soo had finally reached the end of her rope!
It was almost the end of their Junior year and she
was still crazy about Glenn and he
and he was still acting like she didn't exist.
It was time to do something or just give up!
She was tired of heart-farting over him
And there's just so many words a Sim can teach a parrot!
The time had come for her to sit or get off the pot!
And she didn't care how Glenn might react.
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
Was Glenn playing hard to get?
Was he scared out of his mind to take the plunge
of enchantment and fall blissfully in love?
Was he really a boot-legging alien from Strangetown
on the run from loan sharks
and a bookie nicknamed,"Willy No-Thumbs"?
Or was he just toying with her fragile heart
because he never learned
how to play poker with a straight face?
Well, whatever the case may be -
Mari-Soo vowed to force Glenns hand no matter what!
Her diabolical plan was quite simple.
When Glenn returned to the dorm house after class
she'd just happen to be outside casually looking through the telescope.
(But just pretending of course, as to not ruin her perfect plan
by being brutally attacked and shoved all over the front yard.).
And as soon as Glenn was within earshot she'd burst
out screaming at the top of her lungs that
a GIANT, flaming meteor was heading
straight for their dorm house
and then she'd jump into his arms for safety.
It was a goofy plan but she figured it was worth a shot!
Unfortunately Mari-Soo's plan didn't include Glenn arriving back
from class with earbuds crammed into his head and he never even heard
her screaming to him about the giant, flaming meteor.
Unfortunately Mason did hear her
when he and Dina were just leaving to go to class.
And she was having a heck of a time getting him
to come to while attempting to drag him out of the flower bed.
He'd gotten an ankle wedged in-between the fountain and
one of the Garden Gnomes, so it was a struggle!
Poor Mari-Soo!
Glenn didn't even give her a fleeting glance as he walked by
and that put her right over the edge -
she ran over, blocked his path and shouted,
"Hold it right there buddy boy!
Don't you DARE move a muscle!"
And then she made HER move.
She couldn't tell if that was a,
"I'm playing hard to get"
look on his face or a
"Have you lost your freakin mind Girl?!" look.
But she didn't care.
Nothing was going to stop her now!
And poor Glenn never knew what hit him!!!
Mari-Soo done caught her man!
All was well in the world.
Ever since falling in love,
Vinny and Ginny had become inseparable!
They DID everything together.
They sat together, ate together, showered together,
cooked together, slept together, made music together, napped together,
cut class together and barely passed finals together.
And if things keep going the way they have been-
they will almost NOT graduate together!
But there was something that all the other students
were doing that Vinny and Ginny decided
they had to start doing too -
and that's going out for a jog every day.
But they didn't want to go jogging with the other students.
They had to do it together without anyone else,
They made a very big deal out of it -
went a got some fancy jogging shoes and clothes
and boasted to everyone
about what GREAT joggers they'd be.
And FINALLY -
after talking about it non-stop for two weeks
they finally went on their first jog!
Unfortunately, they ran into problem on
that first day jogging, a real "obstacle" if you will.
They HATED it!
Yep, they hated every minute of it!
But they didn't want everyone to make fun of them for
giving up and quitting after one day.
The next morning Ginny came up with a plan.
Every day they'd get into their jogging suits
and take off jogging until they reached the very end of their street,
then take the short-cut across the campus park and then a back road
that leads off campus to the old highway where they'd hitch a ride
to Paul Bunyan's Flapjack Cabin next to Bear Clover National Park.
They both love the 'Blue Ox Bacon, Biscuit & Buttermilk Special'.
It's an all-you-can-eat deal that runs till 2 pm.
And it was where Vinny asked Ginny to be his wife!
After Ginny said yes they ordered the Paul Bunyan Logger's Special -
and ate themselves sick!
It was the end of their Junior Year
and my Simself wanted to do something extra special
for Trevor once their Finals were over.
Being a Nature Sim, Trevor was always wanting to go on hikes,
bird-watch, look for bugs and things like that.
So she came up with the PERFECT date for them -
She surprised him with a trip to go camping at
Bear Clover National Park!
And right in the park is
Paul Bunyan's Flapjack Cabin!
She went to a lot of work planning their special weekend camping.
Even setting up their camp before they got there -
right next to a nice pond to go fishing!
At first she worried if Trevor would enjoy himself.
But as soon as Trevor landed his first big catch -
she knew he was a Happy Camper!
My Simself caught some great fish too!
After fishing Trevor wanted to go ice skating.
Trevor was a lot more talented on the ice than my Simself
and he was very patient in teaching her.
By the end of their skating session my Simself was doing this!
(And landing on her butt right after)
After all the fishing and ice skating they were HUNGRY!
My Simself got the grill ready to cook up some fresh caught trout.
And Trevor got a campfire going.
Dinner turned out PERFECT!
Needless to say Trevor was thrilled with the special date
that was planned in his honor.
And after eating it was time to start up the campfire again.
I think my Simself is trying to give Trevor a silent
message with her eyes that they have an uninvited guest
that came out of nowhere to help himself to a tasty trout meal!
After their guest left
Trevor began talking about things that,..well..
guys like to talk about.
And my Simself decided it was the perfect time
to roast some marshmallows!
YUMMY!!
And Trevor had a surprise for my Simself!
So my Simself and Trevor will be starting
their Senior year engaged.
They had a wonderful weekend camping
and look forward to the day when they're happily married
and can take their children on camping trips just like this one.
And that's it for this VERY long update!
Thanks for reading!!
