*Sims Saturday*

I had the idea to share some of my Alien Sims
along with the Video Of The Day and thought it would
be a quick and easy post to along with my song by STYX.

But then I had the brainstorm to share more than a few pix
and figured it would be best to do it at my blog.
So, here I am a WEEK later!
My blog needed a make-over so that took up a LOT of my time
along with all the graphics I created and editing the pix.
I think you'll enjoy this update so it was worth taking so much time.

And in case you're wondering, yeah, this is a different blog than
the one's I've been sharing in the past. I'm not exactly sure
when I started this one but it was quite a long time ago.
I like the way it looks - can't believe how much time I spent
fiddling with it and I'm never 100% happy with my blog's appearance.
There's always something more I want to do/change.

But enough of that -
It's time to share my Sim Pix!!

I was going to share just a few pix but then I decided
to post a lot more and not just pix of Aliens.
I'll be sharing all kinds of oddball pix that I came across while
looking through my many, many folders of Sims.

It's only fitting that I start with one of the very first Aliens I played.
You may recognize him - he was in the Simski hood with all of us,
which was also Marka's custom 100 year old hood.

I just called him "Poll".
He was a cool Sim and it was at this time I wrote My Alien Concept.

Here Poll is coming onto Dina and Nina's grandfather, Nestor Caliente
They hit it off real well.
As a matter of fact, Nestor fell head over heels for Poll.
But Poll refused to be tied down preferring to "play the field" with a few Sims

And Nestor was cool with that.
He was also very cool with the fact that he and Poll had a son together.

And yep, Poll and Nestor are the parents of Flamenco Caliente!

And here's a pix of Flamenco with Bella!
In the 100 year old hood she's born with red hair-
which makes a lot more sense than her having black hair
as her parents are a red head and a blond.

Victor Goth had an Alien Mistress in this hood too.
And they had two children.
This is his oldest with her, Valor.

And then they had a daughter, Darby.

This is Tryad -
one of my more popular Alien Sims.
And the Nooboo is his daughter, Trujill.

A funny situation happened with Tryad and Brad.
Brad just happened to be walking by one day
and struck up a conversation with Tryad.

But first thing he just HAD to do before chatting about
anything else was to dish out some juicy gossip on his BFF, Hunter!

And yes, that's an aged down Leo Wilke in the pix with them.
Poll worked with Sheldon and they were good friends.
And that's as far as it went.

As most of you already know, Audrah is the kid sister
of Steele Renegade and became our own Jess Simski's
sister-in-law when Jess and Steele got married.

And that's where this story begins.

It was Jess and Steele's wedding that completely
changed Audrah's life as she knew it.

During the reception, Alien Sim, Flagg Orbitz
made a point in seeking her out an introducing himself.

Flagg was fairly new to town and had come to the wedding alone.
Audrah was also new to the hood and she was instantly
enamored by this charming Alien in the cool shades.

Flagg joined her at the reception table
and instead of asking her out on the dance floor
like everyone else, Flagg lavished Audrah with tons of attention.
More attention than any other Sim had ever given her.

He made a flowery toast in honor of Audrah
being the prettiest Sim he'd ever been lucky enough to meet.
That really made Audrah blush and smile!

Flagg certainly knew how to pile on the charm.
Audrah was unable to resist and fell completely under Flagg's spell.

And in no time at all - the two of them fell in love.

It didn't take much for Flagg to convince Audrah
that it would be much more romantic for them if they were
to steal away from everyone at the reception
and go to her room upstairs.

And of course, one thing led to another.

Long after the wedding and reception was over,
in the wee hours of the morning after everyone was asleep,
Flagg quietly left Audrah alone with her dreams of falling in love
with the most wonderful Sim in the world!

But Audrah soon discovered the Sim of her dreams
was by no means as attentive and available as he should be.

His many broken promises
were actually turning into a terrible nightmare.

Always breaking dates with her at the last minute, never calling
calling her back and basically not being there for her at all,
Audrah was fed up with Flagg's crummy behavior
and called him up to confront him.

She would have gone over to his place
to confront him in person but she didn't even know where he lived!

Audrah held nothing back and boldly confronted Flagg.
She got right to the point and
demanded that he give her an explanation NOW!

Flagg tried telling her it wasn't a good time to talk,
especially about their relationship, and that he'd talk to her about
it some other time but Audrah refused to back down.
Finally Flagg had no choice but to be honest.

He blurted out the truth to her in a stern but very hushed voice -
he couldn't be the kind of boyfriend she wanted because,..

,..he had a WIFE!

And not only did Flagg have a wife,
he had three kids and dog!

Audrah's world came crashing down.
She was stunned beyond words.
It was the last thing she ever expected Flagg to tell her
and the worst thing to ever happen in her life.

She hung up after hearing the news and locked herself
up in her room for days until Jess, concerned that Audrah was
sick, barged into her room to see if she was okay.
She confided to Jess what had happened with Flagg
and after a long evening of talking about it,
they came to the conclusion that it would be best that Audrah
move on with her life and never see Flagg again.

But Flagg didn't feel that way and eventually he contacted
Audrah and talked her into seeing him.
Not wanting Jess to know, she began meeting Flagg on the sly.

This went on for a few weeks but then someone on
the police force with Jess and Steele saw them coming out
of a seedy motel on the bad side of town
and Audrah's dirty little secret was a secret no more.

When Steele learned the entire truth,
he came unglued and stormed into Audrah's room
demanding that she never see that sorry *#$! cheating alien again!!

Needless to say, Audrah got very defensive
and wasn't about to let her big brother to tell her how to live her life!
And that's exactly what she told Steele.

This only fueled his anger more.

And he LOUDLY demanded that Audrah never see Flagg again,..
OR ELSE!!

Audrah snapped, yelling at Steele to stay out of her life!
And she also added that if he didn't stay out of her business -
 she'd MOVE OUT!

Steele looked her straight in the face and said,
"Fine then.
 GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

The confrontation was too much for Audrah.
Unable to fight anymore she broke down
and began to cry like a baby.

She knew her brother was right but she loved Flagg.

Steele didn't know what to do.
He put an arm around her
and helplessly watched his little sister cry.

All the screaming and yelling had gotten Jess' attention.
She rushed into the room
and Audrah sobbed out the whole story to her.

Jess put a comforting arm around her, then shot
Steele a stern, disapproving look -
"How could you do this to your own sister?!
You need to calm down!"

Steele was fit to be tied!

What he REALLY wanted to do
was hunt down Flagg and beat him to a bloody pulp!
But he couldn't put his job as a cop on the line like that -
no matter how tempting it was.

He hated seeing his little sister cry
and he was angry at himself for losing his temper.
To avoid making matters worse than they were already,
Steele stayed away from Audrah
and spent the rest of evening with a punching bag.

From that evening on there was no more mention
of Flagg but of course it weighed heavy on everyone's mind.

You could cut the tension between Steele and Audrah
with a knife and not being able to stand it another minute,
Jess talked her husband into going upstairs and talking things
out with his little sister and Steele agreed.

But even the best of intentions
can become a victim of really ironic timing.

Steele had just approached Audrah
and they'd began a calm and collected conversation
 when suddenly,..

Needless to say Audrah had been keeping another secret.

Steele's first reaction was,..not that good.
The last thing he wanted for his sister was to be a single
mother to a child who's father is married to another Sim.

His rage got the best of him and once again,
he began a tirade against Flagg.

But Audrah wasn't having it
and she put an end to Steele's tirade as soon as it started.

And walked away from her brother right in the middle of it.

It was Steele and the punching bag again that night.

Once again everyone in the family went into avoidance mode -
talking about everything but the obvious.

Most of the time Steele and Audrah didn't talk at all
with Steele giving Audrah the silent treatment.
And that made everyone in the house very uncomfortable.

And caused Audrah to fall into a bad depression.
Most of the time she slept.

Jess had to step in again and she pointed out to Steele
that he was doing Audrah and her unborn child a lot of harm
with his cold and silent treatment of his sister.

It was a lot for Steele to think about.
And he did think about it.

The day after his talk with Jess, Steele was looking forward
to only working a half day and the whole way home he rehearsed
in his mind what he would say to Audrah when he got there.
He loved his sister and it hurt him to see her so depressed
and being he was causing Audrah's upset, he really wanted to
mend fences and enjoy the afternoon with her.

He walked through the door and took a deep breath,
reminding himself over and over to keep his cool and not
even bring up the subject of Flagg -
to only talk about Audrah and her baby.

He heard Audrah's laughter coming from the living room
and was relieved that she was in a good mood.
He put his worries aside and a smile on his face and
headed for the living room.

The LAST thing he expected is what he saw right before his eyes.

His blood began to boil and it took everything he had
to not run over and rip Flagg from limb to limb!

He could hear Jess inside his mind telling him to
chill out and think of Audrah and the baby.
He wished so much that Jess was there so he could back out
of the room and go annihilate his punching bag
but she was pulling a double - he was on his own this time.

He was just about to leave the room,
make a hasty escape,..
when Flagg and Audrah looked up and greeted him with
big, happy smiles. Audrah slid out Flagg's lap and
cuddled up next to him on the couch while Flagg cheerfully asked
Steele to come over and hang out with them.

It took everything he had,
but Steele found his way to the couch and took a seat.

His stomach knotted up at the sight of Flagg
looking so content and happy alongside his sister,
like nothing at all was wrong in the world.

He wanted to slap that sickening smile off his face!

He reminded himself of Audrah and the baby
searching his mind for something to say,..

"So, Flagg, buddy, you plan on helping my sister
support your child or is she on her own to pay for everything?"

The words erupted out of his mouth before
he had a chance to think about it or sensor them.

The room went silent after dropping that bomb.

Flagg could only shrugg his shoulders,..

While Audrah shot him a look that could kill.

It was obviously an awful question to ask
but he really was wondering if Flagg had plans to step up
and help Audrah with the financial needs of their child.
But this wasn't the time or place to ask that.

He decided to excuse himself and find
something, (anything), else to do before he made the
situation worse than he already had.

He wandered outside to the garden and pulled
a few weeds that were choking up his strawberries plants
and then gave them a long and thorough watering.
All morning he'd planned on having such a good talk
with Audrah and looked forward to having his sister back
but all he ended up doing was upsetting her again.

He told himself to give it another try, took a deep breath
and went back inside to join them.

He entered the living room to find this.

His heart softened up inside
and he actually felt kinda happy for his sister.
Could it be he wasn't being fair enough when it came to Flagg?

Maybe he actually wasn't the egotistical, self-absorbed, cheating dipwad
that he'd been thinking Flagg was all this time?

Maybe he was a decent guy that just deserved a second chance?

Then Flagg walked over and started talking about how
hot female Law Enforcement is and what a lucky Sim Steele
was for working alongside all that fine booty.

Nope.
Nothing changed there.
Flagg was still an egotistical, self-absorbed, cheating dipwad.

SUDDENLY!!
As if on Que,...

Audrah and Flagg's Nooboo came into the world.

It's a BOY!

And his name is Flynt Renegade!
So life went on and even though Steele disliked Flagg greatly,
he never withheld any love or affection towards his nephew. Flynt.

Life was too short for that and he and Audrah were able
to get back the same tight bond they'd shared from the time they
were just little kids - nothing would ever ruin that.

Flynt had his father's eyes but whenever Steele
looked at his toddler nephew he saw Audrah as a little girl
and the two of them bonded very closely.
And that turned out to be a (very), good thing
as Flagg wasn't coming around as much as he'd promised.

That upset Audrah a lot because it also meant her
relationship with Flagg wasn't what she'd hoped it would be,
but Flynt didn't have to go without a strong male figure in his
life as he had his Uncle Steele there for him every day.

But Steele till carried around a lot of animosity towards Aliens,
stemming from the negative experience he'd had as a child.
He learned to hide it well, especially after what happened with Flagg,
but Jess and Audrah were close enough to him that they saw
how he struggled with not trusting Aliens but there wasn't
much either of them could do about it.

That what was so amazing about what happened
shorty after Flynt toddlered up -
it really was one of those "meant to be" kind of things.

It all begain when Steele got a new partner at work.

His name was Ilia Coole and he was an Alien.

Steele ended up going home with Ilia after work one day
and never in his wildest dreams did he realize one an important
friendship he'd end up sharing with Ilia.

The spent the whole evening talking and Steele was amazed
and how many things he and Ilia had in common -
including  some not-so-great experiences with Aliens in his past too.

The more time they spent together, the more Steele
began to let go of the past and trust Aliens.

They became very close as work partners and also as friends.
Ilia Coole became Steele's most trusted friend.

And when it came time for the big birthday party
Audrah had planned for Flynt, Steele made sure Ilia was there.

Did he have some kind of plan up his sleeve to introduce
his new best friend to his sister?

Maybe.

It was a great party
and Flynt poofed into a super cute kid!

Later on that evening Ilia and Audrah discovered each other.
Ilia did NOT hold back on the flattery.
And it was genuine as can be -
he was totally smitten by his best friend's sister!

But it was Audrah who had the idea to go out on a date -
which Ilia was very quick to agree too.

They fell in love on their First Date.

Not long after, Ilia proposed
and Audrah couldn't say Yes fast enough.

They got married in a quiet little ceremony off by themselves.
They were very happy!

And they were expecting a Nooboo too!

They had a beautiful daughter which they named Irinna.

And next thing they knew, it was time for Flynt to teen up!

A very handsome young man!

Then it was time for Irinna to kid up!

And what a cutie she is!

Ilia and Audrah found more happiness together than
they ever thought possible.

They got a place of their own but still stay
very close to Steele and Jess.

Flagg is nowhere to be found but that's okay -
he wasn't meant to be part of this story's 'Happily Ever After"

*Before The Nightingale Sisters*

Wish I could remember their names.
But I definitely remember playing them -
they had a cool house and lived in a hood called Tanglewood.

More To Come Soon!!
